Michael Plichta

Michael Plichta is a Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Goethe University Frankfurt, affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy at Universitätsklinikum Frankfurt.

His research focuses on ADHD, Reward Processing, and Neuroimaging methodologies such as EEG, tDCS, fNIRS, and fMRI. Recent studies explore mental health trajectories during the Covid-19 lockdown, neuroimaging of reward systems in ADHD, and loneliness during pandemics using polygenic risk scores and cortisol biomarkers.
