Michael Obermire

Michael Obermire serves as the Academic Business Manager and adjunct professor in the School of Business at William Jessup University. His roles involve teaching in graduate and undergraduate business programs and managing academic support operations. Prior to academia, he held executive positions in Industrial Engineering, Operations, and Sales & Marketing at major California-based manufacturers, including USS-POSCO Industries, where he was Director of Sales and Marketing until his retirement in 2016.

Research & Interests: Focuses on Marketing strategies, Industrial Engineering applications in business operations, and executive education. Active in professional organizations such as the American Marketing Association (AMA), where he advises the Jessup AMA Marketing club.

Advising & Engagement: Faculty advisor for the Jessup AMA Marketing club, fostering student involvement in marketing practices and industry trends.
