Michael McLaughlin is a Lecturer in the Department of Music at Tufts University's School of Arts and Sciences. He holds a DMA from New England Conservatory (2010), an MA from Tufts University (1999), and a BM from Berklee College of Music (1993). His expertise spans Music Theory and Klezmer Ensemble performance, alongside contributions to Americana and jazz traditions. McLaughlin's compositions have been featured in film, theater, and public radio, earning awards such as the 2001 Mass Cultural Council Artist Grant.
