Michael McIntire

Michael McIntire is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay within the College of Science, Engineering and Technology. His research focuses on sol-gel materials with applications in optical sensing, smart window technology, and water remediation solutions.

• Development of biogels for optical sensing
• Metal nanoparticle integration in smart windows
• Low-cost water remediation using silica sol-gels
