Michael Lyons is an Adjunct Lecturer at Stanford University's Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering since 1988. He co-founded the Stanford Technology Ventures Program (STVP) and pioneered courses like Technology Venture Formation (MSE273). He has held C-Suite roles in over a dozen companies, including co-founding Integrated Systems (acquired by Intel) and SafeView (acquired by Leidos). His venture capital roles span Paladin Capital Group, DFJ/ePlanet, and NativeFirst Capital, generating deals with $50B+ market value. He co-founded multiple educational initiatives including the Idea to Market program.
