Michael Lorimer

Michael Lorimer serves as an Adjunct Professor at California Lutheran University within the Graduate School of Education, teaching the EDTP 514 TPA Seminar course and previously instructing EDTP 511, 512, and 513. He concurrently works as a CLU Fieldwork Supervisor mentoring teacher candidates and provides Principal Support consulting services for the Rio School District, maintaining active involvement in both higher education and K-12 settings.

With 30 years of practical experience in education—including 25 years as an elementary and middle school administrator before retiring from that role in 2017—his expertise centers on Educational Leadership, Teacher Education, and School Administration. He emphasizes bridging theoretical training with classroom realities through direct fieldwork supervision and seminar instruction.

Mr. Lorimer's current work focuses on developing teacher candidates through classroom observations and support, ensuring preparedness for teaching careers. His post-retirement engagement demonstrates ongoing commitment to educational mentorship despite no longer holding full-time administrative positions in K-12 institutions.
