Michael Lodahl is a Full-Time Professor of Theology & World Religions at Point Loma Nazarene University (PLNU) since 1999. He previously taught at Northwest Nazarene University for 11 years. His academic work spans theology, world religions, and Wesleyan studies, with a focus on biblical narrative, hermeneutics, and interfaith dialogue.
Education:
- Ph.D. in Theological Studies, Emory University
- M.Div. in Philosophy of Religion and Theology, Nazarene Theological Seminary
- B.A. in Psychology and Philosophy, Northwest Nazarene College
Lodahl’s research explores intersections between Jewish and Christian theology, corporate spirituality, and relational holiness. His publications address themes like divine presence, Wesleyan theological frameworks, and collaborative spirituality. He has also contributed to discussions on holiness in Christian and Islamic contexts.
