Dr. Michael Lerner is an Assistant Professor of Surgery (Otolaryngology) at Yale University School of Medicine. He serves as Director of the Voice Center at Greenwich Hospital and Director of Residency Research in Otolaryngology. His clinical expertise focuses on laryngeal disease, vocal cord disorders, and botulinum toxin treatments. He completed his MD at Tufts University and residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital, with a fellowship in laryngology at Mount Sinai West/Weill Cornell.
Research interests include laryngeal neurophysiology, neuromodulation, and retrograde cricopharyngeus dysfunction.
