Michael Lee, MBA, PDOT, 3M National Teaching Fellow, and Killam Laureate, is a Professor of Teaching at the Department of Occupational Science & Occupational Therapy within the Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia. He has over 40 years of clinical experience in Mental Health Rehabilitation and has been instrumental in advancing psychosocial rehabilitation practices globally.
His academic journey began in Hong Kong, where he was educated as an occupational therapist before immigrating to Canada 30 years ago. He is committed to supporting internationally educated occupational therapists in adapting to Canadian practice standards.
