معرفی
Dr. Michael L. Robinson is a Professor of Biology at Miami University, with affiliations to the Biomedical Science M.M.Sc. program and Cell, Molecular and Structural Biology Graduate Program. His laboratory investigates genetic mechanisms governing vertebrate eye development using mouse models and stem cell approaches.
Research Focus
- Molecular regulation of lens epithelial cell differentiation
- Regenerative pathways for neural retina reconstruction
- CRISPR/Cas9 genomic editing applications in ocular development
Teaching includes Genetics (BIO 342), Developmental Genetics (BIO 361), and graduate seminars. Research employs embryonic stem cells and human induced pluripotent stem cells to model organogenesis, with translational applications for treating retinal degeneration pathologies.
