Michael Jørgen Hansen serves as a Senior Researcher in Environmental Engineering at Aarhus University's Department of Biological and Chemical Engineering. His research focuses on agricultural emissions reduction, particularly methane and odor control from pig production systems. His work bridges environmental science, agricultural engineering, and climate policy development.
Research interests span Greenhouse Gas Emissions from livestock operations, Waste Management technologies, Odor Control systems using mass spectrometry and olfactometry, and Methane Reduction strategies through dietary interventions and housing innovations.
