Michael J. Fishman is the Norman Strunk Professor of Financial Institutions at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. He has held leadership roles, including Senior Associate Dean for Curriculum & Teaching (2011-2014) and Senior Associate Dean for Faculty & Research (2018-present). His research focuses on financial market regulation, contracting, and corporate finance, with notable contributions on insider trading, disclosure regulations, and long-term financial instruments. Fishman has received numerous awards, including the Smith Breeden Prize and multiple Outstanding Professor Awards from the Kellogg Executive MBA program.
