Michael J. Boskin is the Rose and Milton Friedman Senior Fellow on Public Policy at the Hoover Institution and the Tully M. Friedman Professor of Economics at Stanford University. He is also a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research and advises governments and businesses globally.

His recent publications analyze fiscal sustainability, inflation targeting, federal debt, and the economic impacts of major policy proposals such as the Green New Deal and Medicare for All. The articles reflect deep engagement with macroeconomic trends, fiscal responsibility, and the long-term health of the U.S. economy.
