Dr. Michael J. Alfonzo is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) and an Assistant Attending Physician at NewYork-Presbyterian (NYP). He holds dual appointments in the Departments of Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics at WCM, specializing in pediatric emergency care and global health. Dr. Alfonzo graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine (M.D., 2009), with prior degrees from Seton Hall University (M.S. in 2005 and B.S. in 2003). His clinical expertise spans global health initiatives, medical informatics, and general pediatrics.
