Michael Goodrich is a Professor at the University of California, Irvine (UCI), Department of Computer Science since 2001, and Technical Director of the ICS Center for Algorithms and Theory of Computation. Previously, he was a professor at Johns Hopkins University (1987-2001). His research focuses on high-performance algorithms, data structures, and their applications to security, machine learning, geometric computing, and distributed systems. He has over 300 publications and authored influential textbooks.
