Michael G Kaplitt, M.D., Ph.D., is a leading Professor of Neurological Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College, with additional appointments in Neurology, Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and Neuroscience. He serves as the David and Ursel Barnes Professor in Minimally Invasive Surgery, focusing on surgical treatments for movement disorders like Parkinson's disease and essential tremor, particularly pioneering MR-guided focused ultrasound techniques.
