Michael Friedman is the Suppes Professor of Philosophy of Science at Stanford University's Department of Philosophy, with an additional courtesy appointment in German Studies. His research focuses on Kant, the history of twentieth-century philosophy, and the intersection between philosophy and the exact sciences.
