Dr. Michael Ferber is an Assistant Professor of Geography at The King's University College and teaches the International Development and Environmental Sustainability course at Au Sable - Pacific Rim. He has over fifteen years of experience in environmental and development work, focusing on creation care, poverty studies, and human-environment interaction. His research spans creation care, poverty studies, sustainability, and the geography of religion. He has contributed to publications including a sidebar in Senator John Edwards' book 'Ending Poverty in America' and a chapter on sustainable missions in the Evangelical Missionary Society's 2010 Annual Volume.
