Michael Faletra is a Professor of English and Humanities at Reed College, where he has served since 2001 and currently chairs the English Department. His expertise spans medieval British literatures, including Middle English, Old English, Anglo-Latin, Anglo-Norman, Welsh, and Irish texts. His research focuses on the 'long twelfth century,' exploring intersections of Latin Christendom and vernacular cultures. Notable works include Wales and the Medieval Colonial Imagination (2014) and an edition of Geoffrey of Monmouth's History of the Kings of Britain (2008).
