Michael D. Frakes is the A. Kenneth Pye Distinguished Professor of Law at Duke University’s School of Law and holds a secondary appointment in the Department of Economics within Duke’s Trinity College of Arts & Sciences. He is also a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. Frakes joined Duke in 2016 from Northwestern University’s Pritzker School of Law, where he served as an Associate Professor.
