Michael Cauvel, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Southern Maine, affiliated with the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. He previously served as an Assistant Professor at Ithaca College and an Adjunct Instructor at American University. His research focuses on macroeconomics, income inequality, and political economy, with a particular emphasis on wage-led growth theories and structural economic dynamics.
