Michael Carbajales-Dale is an Associate Professor in the Environmental Engineering & Earth Sciences department at Clemson University, leading the Energy-Economy-Environment (E3) Systems Analysis group. His research focuses on energy systems, sustainability, and the transition from fossil fuels to renewables. He has secured over $30M in grants and published over 60 articles with an h-index of 31. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Canterbury and an M.S. in Physics & Philosophy from the University of Bristol.
