Michael Baumgaertner, MD, is a Professor of Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation at Yale School of Medicine and Chief of the Orthopaedic Trauma Service at Yale-New Haven Hospital. With over 25 years of clinical experience, he specializes in treating severe fractures, fracture complications, and worn-out joints, while emphasizing patient-centered care and recovery of lifestyle.
