Michael Ackerson

Michael Ackerson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Arkansas' College of Engineering. He has been affiliated with the department since 1988 after earning his PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arkansas in 1987. His career spans roles at Phillips Petroleum as a thermodynamicist and includes significant contributions to plastics recycling and renewable chemical technologies.
