Michael A. Dees is an Adjunct Professor at Mitchell Hamline College of Law’s School of Law. As an administrative law judge with the Minnesota Department of Human Services and a former prosecutor with over 27 years of public service experience, he brings extensive legal expertise to his teaching roles in trial skills, advanced trial skills, and hybrid/externship programs.

- Education: Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Psychology from Morehouse College
His research and teaching focus on legal advocacy, trial techniques, and practical legal education. He has contributed to legal pedagogy through roles at institutions including the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) and the National District Attorney’s Association.
