Micah Wyssmann

Micah Wyssmann is an Assistant Professor in the Civil Engineering department at the University of Missouri-Kansas City's School of Science and Engineering. He joined UMKC's Division of the Natural and Built Environment in fall 2023 after completing his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at the University of Tennessee (2021). His research focuses on water resources engineering, analyzing flow and sediment transport dynamics in natural and engineered river systems through physical modeling and advanced measurement techniques like particle image velocimetry (PIV).
