Miao Dai

Miao Dai is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Spatial Economics, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and a Research Associate at the School of Business and Economics. Previously, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Center for Environmental Economics - Montpellier (CEE-M), France. They hold a Ph.D. in Economics from McGill University (2023). Their research focuses on environmental and resource economics, industrial organization, international trade, and dynamic games. Current projects include critical minerals' role in clean energy transitions, funded by SNSF, ANR, and RRECQ, exploring recycling, geopolitical frictions, and policy solutions for sustainable resource management.
