Mia Preece

Mia Preece is a Senior Lecturer in Sport Science and Therapy at London Metropolitan University's School of Human Sciences. With an MRes in Sport and Exercise Medicine (Distinction) and clinical experience treating recreational to professional athletes, her research investigates biomechanical factors in sports performance and injury mechanisms.

Research focuses on movement analysis in cycling and ice skating, balance physiology, and injury prevention strategies. Recent publications examine postural stability determinants in cyclists and pedagogical effectiveness of group-based learning.
