Mia Filić is a researcher at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, ETH Zurich. She is currently involved in the research project "Chances and Risks of Generative AI", a collaborative initiative led by the Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung and involving institutions like Fraunhofer AISEC, CISPA Helmholtz Center for Information Security, and Freie Universität Berlin's Cybersecurity&AI group. Her work intersects cybersecurity, privacy, and generative AI, with recent contributions to adversarial environments and low-resource federated learning. She presented her research on Compact Frequency Estimators at the FU Berlin Cybersecurity and AI Seminar in February 2024.
