Markiewicz's scholarly work examines how contemporary art engages with cyborg theory beyond military-industrial paradigms, analyzing works by artists like Stelarc, Neil Harbisson, and Moon Ribas. His recent publication explores cyborg representations in art through the lens of Donna Haraway's 'Cyborg Manifesto' and contemporary posthumanist thought.
