Mette Ramsgaard Thomsen

Mette Ramsgaard Thomsen is a Professor of Digital Technologies and Director of CITA (Centre for Information Technology and Architecture) at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture. She founded CITA in 2005, pioneering research into how computation transforms architectural material cultures.

Research Interests: Her work focuses on advanced computer modeling, digital fabrication, and material specification. Projects like Predictive Response, Complex Modelling, and Innochain highlight her integration of simulation and material behavior prediction in architecture.
