Metin Özdemir is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at Örebro University, affiliated with the LEADER Center for Lifespan Developmental Research. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Social Psychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (2009). His research focuses on adolescents’ adjustment and well-being, particularly immigrant and refugee youth, and designing evidence-based interventions to support their integration. He leads projects like the PIA Study and IDEA Project, collaborating with institutions such as Karolinska Institutet and Umeå University.
