Mesud KAHRİMAN

Mesud KAHRİMAN is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences. His research focuses on microprocessors, numerical methods in electromagnetics, image processing, and industrial control systems. He holds a PhD from Sakarya University in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (2004), following a master’s (2001) and bachelor’s (1997) from the same institution.

His recent publications (2017-2024) emphasize RF energy harvesting, antenna design, electromagnetic materials, and biomedical applications. He has contributed to advancements in sensors for bacteria detection, composite absorbers from recycled materials, and prosthetic control systems. His work frequently appears in SCI-Expanded journals like Sensors and Actuators A and the Turkish Journal of Electrical Engineering.

KAHRİMAN has collaborated with researchers on topics ranging from microwave coupler design to electromagnetic radiation’s effects on pathogens. His research integrates practical engineering solutions with interdisciplinary applications in healthcare, environmental science, and wireless communication.
