Meryem DAVUTOĞLU is a full-time Lecturer at Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, Vocational School of Social Sciences, Department of Office Services and Secretarial Services, where she teaches Office Management and Executive Assistantship. Since 2007 she has held various administrative roles including vice-director of a vocational school and Quality Board membership.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree (2000-2004) and Master’s degree (2004-2007) in Office Management Education from Gazi University, followed by a PhD (2018) in Interpersonal Communication from Marmara University.
Her research interests revolve around:
- Office ergonomics and design
- Interpersonal and digital communication
- Public diplomacy during crisis periods (e.g., COVID-19)
- Social entrepreneurship and women’s participation
- Quality management in vocational education
Her recent publications demonstrate a clear trend toward digital diplomacy and the impact of pandemic-era communication strategies, alongside sustained focus on ergonomic workplace quality and social entrepreneurship. These works collectively bridge practical vocational concerns with broader socio-communicative phenomena.
