Mert Gur is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computational and Systems Biology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He holds a PhD in Computational Sciences and Engineering from Koç University. His research integrates computational modeling and statistical thermodynamics to address challenges at the intersection of medicine, biology, and engineering.
