معرفی
Merdin DANIŞMAZ is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Kırşehir Ahi Evran University (since 2019). He earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Karadeniz Technical University (2017) after a Master's in Occupational Health and Safety (2019) and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering (2004). His academic journey includes lecturing roles at Tokat GOP (2010-2012) and Karadeniz Technical University (2012-2019).
- Current University: Kırşehir Ahi Evran University
- Previous Institutions: Karadeniz Technical University, Gaziosmanpaşa University
Research Focus: Specializes in heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and energy systems with applications in nanofluids, renewable energy, and computational modeling. His work bridges theoretical analysis with practical implementations in solar energy, biomass gasification, and thermal management systems.
Publication Trends: Recent works emphasize machine learning integration (LSTM for wind forecasting), nanofluid thermal enhancement (elliptical tubes, spiral pipes), and sustainable engineering solutions (atmospheric water generation, syngas production from waste biomass). Collaborations span Turkey, Iraq, India, and Germany.
Scientific Recognition:
- Bilim Teşvik Ödülü (2024, 2025)
- Keynote speaker at TÜBİTAK Bilim Söyleşileri (2023-2024)
- Editorial roles in multiple international journals (2025)
Academic Leadership: Supervised 12 graduate theses across thermal systems, fluid dynamics, and energy applications. Currently serves as Department Chair (2024-) and member of BİLSEL Congresses.
