Mercedes Torneiro Abuin

Mercedes Torneiro Abuin is a University Professor at the Department of Organic Chemistry within the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Santiago de Compostela. Her research focuses on supramolecular functional chemistry and systems chemistry, with applications in advanced organic materials, bioactive compounds, and nanomaterials.

Her work bridges interdisciplinary areas including the design and synthesis of novel materials and medical evaluation of bioactive molecules.
