Dr. Menychtas Andreas is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Digital Systems, School of Informatics and Communications, University of Piraeus. He holds a PhD from the National Technical University of Athens (2009), specializing in service-oriented architectures. His teaching focuses on distributed computing, programming, and information systems development across multiple institutions including the University of Piraeus and Hellenic Open University.
Research interests center on modern computing infrastructures, software development, and IoT applications, with particular emphasis on Edge Computing, smart cities, telemedicine, and machine learning.
