Mengchu Zhou

Dr. Mengchu Zhou is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. His research spans discrete event systems, industrial IoT, optimization algorithms, and intelligent manufacturing. With over 30 years of experience, he has made significant contributions to Petri net theory and its industrial applications.

Research interests include intelligent automation, manufacturing systems, optimization algorithms, and quantum computing applications. His work frequently addresses scheduling problems, robotic systems, and IIoT implementations using advanced computational methods.
