Melissa Renschler is an Assistant Professor in the Accounting & Business Law department at Suffolk University. She holds a PhD and B.S. in Accounting from Bentley University and is a licensed CPA. Prior to academia, she worked in Deloitte's NYC audit practice. Her research examines how auditor competencies influence financial reporting quality, while her teaching focuses on data analytics tools for students. She is actively involved in curriculum development, including an innovative inclusive winter internship program.
