Dr. Melissa Martinez is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science and International Affairs at the University of Mary Washington. She specializes in human rights, Latin American politics, international organizations, and violent non-state actors, with regional focus on El Salvador, Mexico, and Central America.
