Melissa Hatty is a Research Fellow at BehaviourWorks Australia, Monash University, where she contributes to research across the Environment, Health & Social, and Education Portfolios. She is also a registered Health Psychologist who works part-time in private practice and supervises postgraduate students.
Research Interests: Her work centers on conservation psychology, connection with nature, and health psychology. She investigates how interactions with the natural environment influence pro-environmental behaviors and psychological wellbeing, particularly for individuals with chronic illness. Her research bridges behavioral science, public health, and environmental policy.
