Melissa Goines is an Assistant Professor of Health Sciences at Barton College, where she teaches in the School of Allied Health and Sport Studies and serves as the Director of Health Promotion. Prior to joining Barton, she taught as an Adjunct Professor at Triton College in the Chicago area for four years.

Dr. Goines' expertise spans athletic training, kinesiology, and health promotion. Her work emphasizes corrective exercise strategies, sports health, and interdisciplinary approaches to improving wellness outcomes. At Indiana University, she supported the women’s tennis team’s athletic training needs for two years.
