Melissa Cain is an Associate Professor in the National School of Education at Australian Catholic University, specializing in inclusive education and creative arts education. Her research interests center around fully asynchronous Initial Teacher Education, pracademic identities, and supporting students with blindness or low vision in mainstream educational contexts. She has also investigated the challenges of fully online teacher education programs that lack real-time connections between students and instructors.
