Melina Markkanen

Melina Markkanen is a doctoral researcher at the Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry, University of Helsinki. Her work focuses on microbiology, virology, and antibiotic resistance, particularly through projects like the Multidisciplinary Center of Excellence in Antimicrobial Resistance Research (AMR-CoE). She is actively involved in analyzing metagenomic data related to environmental and clinical microbiology.
