Melanie Healy

Melanie Healy is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Exercise & Sport Science at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She holds a B.S. in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Physical Education from Southern Oregon University and an M.S. in Human Performance from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Her career includes teaching roles at both the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and Saint Mary's University of Minnesota.

Her research and teaching interests focus on inclusive pedagogical approaches in physical education, human performance optimization, and general education strategies within health sciences. She currently teaches courses such as HPR 105 and ESS 104, emphasizing practical applications of exercise science principles.
