Melanie Brooks is the UWG PreK Program Director at the Department of Pre-Kindergarten within the University of West Georgia's College of Education. With 30 years of experience as an educator and administrator in elementary education, she transitioned to academia in 2022 after retiring from public school administration. She teaches courses focused on early childhood education, teaching methodologies, and internship seminars.
