Melanie Andernach

Melanie Andernach is a Substitute Professor of Television Dramaturgy and Creative Television Production at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne (KHM), where she has been teaching since 2007. She co-founded the MADE IN GERMANY film production company and holds a doctorate from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas.

• Diploma in Creative Film Production, ifs International Film School Cologne (2002-2005)

Her research focuses on documentary filmmaking, gender studies in media, and digital transformation in storytelling. She has worked on award-winning projects like Seven Winters in Tehran (German Film Award) and Censored Voices (Israeli Film Award).
