Melanee Barton

Melanee Barton is an Instructor of English and Program Coordinator for the English Education Program at the University of Southern Mississippi. With 13 years of secondary education experience, she bridges theory and practice in pedagogy, mentoring new educators. She holds a BA from the University of Southern Mississippi (2005) and an MED from William Carey University (2019). Her expertise includes English education, teaching methods, adolescent literature, and education policy.
