Mei Wang

Mei Wang is a Professor at the College of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, Northwestern Health Sciences University. She teaches courses including Chinese Materia Medica, Herbal Clinical Medicine, and Tai Ji. Her academic credentials span three decades, with a PhD from Shandong Traditional Chinese Medicine University (2002), MMed/BMed from Henan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (1999), and BA from Henan Traditional Chinese Medicine College (1986).

Her research integrates Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with Taoist philosophy, focusing on herbal treatments for gastrointestinal disorders and cultural heritage in medical practices. With 15+ years of teaching excellence, she has pioneered visual learning tools, interactive online platforms, and case-based pedagogy to enhance student engagement in Chinese Medicine education.
